PERFORMING ARTS - RECITALS

We have instituted a special videotaping policy designed for schools, dance studios, and other clients who wish to sell large numbers of videos to their participants.  Our policy is based on bulk sales to you, the client.  We can professionally videotape a performance with no videotaping fee if we receive a guaranteed minimum number of sales from the client.   The minimum number of sales required is determined by the number and format of cameras we use.

Two cameras offer an advantage over one camera in two ways:

• We can cut directly from a close-up to a wide angle - for instance if a soloist's dance is followed directly by a group dance, or if there are sudden entrances from the wings.

• We can, if desired, use a "portrait" or "split screen" special effect.  The wide angle of all the performers is shown on the bottom of the screen, while close-ups can be seen in the top.  This is very popular with parents of young children.

All of our cameras are professional industrial or broadcast-quality with large ratio zoom lenses, so we can shoot from a great distance.  Our Sony DVCam's 550 lines of vertical resolution, far superior to VHS's 250 lines, allow us to produce high-quality master tapes, DVDs, and VHS duplications.

Video prices range from $25 - $36 for DVD, $23 to $28 for VHS, depending on the length of your show.
